The Fitness Corner Blog

Poor employee health causes hundreds of thousands of premature deaths each year due to preventable diseases such as hypertension, Type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease.  It also costs U.S. organizations billions of dollars in health care expenses and reduced work productivity.  Fortunately, there is good news.  We can significantly improve our health status but it requires changes in our daily behaviors.  That is the primary purpose of my Fitness Corner Blog.  I provide readers with frequent, up-to-date information on a wide variety of health, fitness, nutrition and exercise topics with the goal of helping to facilitate positive behavior change.  The blog has been up and running since June 25, 2008 and includes dozens of posts such as:
